What a lovely tribute to a much loved daughter. She comes across as a sparkling and lively soul, she'd have probably laughed at this special gift to her! I hope and pray that the pain is fading and that the memories are full of love and laughter.

Dearest Lynne, Much of what I want to say was conveyed in my poem at the time, but I want to say one more thing. If you ask "Why?" - alas, I have no answer in this world. If you say "Where is God in all this?", I can tell you He is with you now and always has been, He weeps for your pain and searing loss, He smiles with you at the wonderful memories Laura left behind. He will not leave you, He knows your heart. He is there for you if you but call on Him. In my experience, God does not always calm the storms of life, but He can calm the child within the storm. The website is a lovely tribute, and as Laura was a blessing to those who knew her, so I pray that the Laura Rose Trust will prove to be a blessing for other of the world's children in need or distress. I would just like to say this site is truly beautiful. I am sure Laura would of been so proud of the trust and the work gone into creating it she had such a love for people. I think it is so wonderful that even though Laura had to leave us her name is being used to help others.

I live in British Columbia Canada. I came across this website through reading the Nottm news on the BBC Nottingham website. My husband and I were in Woodborough in late June of this year at the village féte. I am Nottingham born. Yesterday a friend of mine lost her son in an accident and I can only imagine the pain of losing a child. Laura looks like a a lovely girl who had much potential. My condolences to her Mum Lynne and her sister Sarah and may their memories of Laura comfort them throughout the rest of their lives. God bless.
